You will demonstrate the agility to cope with constantly changing demands and a busy work environment where you work cooperatively with others, communicate effectively and use good judgment as you engage in professional-level duties.As an RCMP Clerk, you will be assigned various duties to support the Detachments operations which may include but is not limited to typing statements related to victimization, crisis and trauma or triaging, responding to and processing inquiries and complaints received in-person, by email and over the phone or radio as the key point of contact between the Detachment and the public and others.RCMP Clerks are computer savvy and can navigate RCMP information systems and databases (eg. CPIC, PRIME) and paper-based systems. In this role, you will perform tasks involving data entry or database searches, creation and maintenance of police files and records. You might also meet with the public and others to conduct police information checks and vulnerable sector checks or take fingerprints using the Livescan system as other related duties.Qualifications
