Our company culture is top notch and we have a ton of fun events throughout the year for our staff members to partake in.What you need: · Minimum of 3+ Year experience in Direct Accounting Role· College Diploma / University Degree in Business, Accounting or related discipline· Strength in General Accounting Processes is required· Experience with Transportation software (ie: Trans Plus, Fleet) is asset· Experience with Accounting software (ie: Net Suite, Quickbooks) is asset· Experience with EFT Payment methods· Experience with Microsoft office software (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required· Ability to use formulas, pivot tables and other advanced excel features.· Positive & Professional Attitude· Analytical, Accuracy and Detail Orientated· Strong Organization and Time Management Skills· Ability to Meet Deadlines· Ability to work in a Fast paced environment· Problem solving and Decision making in a team environment· Strong Communication of English Language (read/write/verbal)· Own Transportation to Guelph Line location (Milton)About the Role: · Overseeing Payroll (Employee and Contracted Roles)· Overseeing Payment Processes (Vendors/Third Party Companies)· Overseeing Accounts Payable Staff to ensure they have the correct training/tools necessary to meet objectives.· Overseeing Accounting Emails to ensure concerns addressed in a timely manner· Verify accuracy: Documentation/Bills & Outgoing Funds· Responding and Handling Escalations of Payable Concerns· Investigate/Resolve any discrepancies along with late/unpaid debt issues and record settlements as required· Working in Collaboration with CFO/Controller and Operation Managers· Participating in hiring and onboarding process of new AP staff.· Communicating professionally and effectively both internally/externally· Support with updating and improving policies and procedures as required· Monthly reports and meetings regarding credit reports· Scanning and Indexing documents as required· Administrative data entry- manually and digitally· Other accounting related duties as requiredWhat we provide: · Permanent Full Time Position· Monday to Friday- Day Shift – 8am to 5pm· Salary 75,000/year + 10% Bonus (based on KPI Indicators)· Bi-weekly pay/Direct Deposit· Annual Performance Reviews· Paid sick days (after 90 days of employment)· Benefits (after 90 days of employment/company pays 50% of monthly premium)· Excellent company culture with group events and a positive atmosphereReach Mike Zelek and Jessica Mata to discuss our available positionsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $75,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
