Learn more at https://e.inc/Role SummaryThis Driver is responsible for the safe moving, staging, and parking of vehicles on auction property, driving vehicles to and from auction lots and customer businesses, and driving vehicles through auction sale lanes on designated sale days and in compliance with auction safety rules and regulations.What You Will Do:

  • Safely drive vehicles to and from assigned destinations across the Ottawa and parts of Southern Ontario
  • Can operate manual and/or clutch-driven transmission vehicles
  • Prioritize communication with Dispatch, Shuttle Drivers, and Lot Locations to ensure timely pickup and delivery of vehicles
  • Locate and identify vehicles by VIN and Year/Make/Model/Trim amongst large and expansive compounds or lots.
  • Ensure vehicles are road ready and willing to work in all-weather environments; this may include the removal of weather-related obstacles on both the vehicle and its surroundings
  • Adhere to all MTO driving regulations and speed limits to ensure safe vehicle operation.
  • Move and park vehicles, within compounds or lots, in an orderly fashion
  • Ability to neatly & accurately complete delivery paperwork on a timely basis.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service for the clients and team members.
Other duties may include:
  • Check-in and check-out vehicles in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Control release of vehicles with approval and filing of vehicle release forms.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly identified with required markings (VIN on windscreen etc.).
  • Enter vehicle arrival and departure information into EBlock’s operations system.
  • Organize vehicles at lot locations in accordance with lot operations guidelines.
  • Maintain secure storage of vehicles and vehicle keys at lot locations
  • Ensure all lot operations are conducted with employee health and safety in mind.
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years driving with full “G” license.
  • Experience: Wholesale auto auction experience preferred. Proficient user of MS Office software. Familiarity with general office procedures.
  • Competencies/Skills: Effective customer service and organizational skills required. Understanding of computer and mobile technology and the ability to use common business applications.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work outside and be on foot for extended periods of time. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and depth perception. Ability to walk medium to long distances during the workday.
  • Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Some indoor work related to general administrative duties.
  • Must possess Valid Ontario “G” drivers’ license and clean Drivers Abstract.
  • Must be able to drive standard vehicles
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
