We have taken part in some of the biggest OT network designs in the world where our engineers work alongside cross-functional teams to deliver mega network and firewall projects.Our clients trust us to deliver; from designing, maintaining and supporting complete IT/OT environments to major networking and security decisions.About the role Denver Technology has an opening in their IT/OT engineering program for multiple Network and Security (Firewall) engineers (12 month fixed term contracts). The successful applicants will be focused on the design and implementation of routing, switching and firewalls, as well as some security design along with contributing to larger project designs and deployments.The position is primarily centered around project deployment and consulting tasks involving the upgrade, remediation, review and analysis of network and security infrastructure.Engineers in the program will work with Senior IT/OT engineers on larger programs of works and work independently on smaller project deployment.Task assignments and oversight are designed to increase the engineer’s skill level towards becoming a senior IT/OT engineer.About the teamOur IT/OT engineering team is a highly experienced group of network and systems engineers. Skills and Experience: Essential

• At least 4 years’ experience as a Network Engineer/Firewall Engineer with routing, switching and firewall deployment experience;

• Information Technology (IT) Qualification such as TAFE Certificate IV/Diploma or Bachelor of Computer Science/Information Technology Degree or equivalent education/experience;
• Cisco CCNA certification (preferable Routingamp; Switching) or higher/equivalent certification;
• Certification or equivalent knowledge/experience in the configuration/deployment/support of a commercial grade firewall platform: preferably one of the following Palo Alto, CheckPoint and/or Juniper SRX; 
• Experience in contributing technical information to Detailed Design/Low Level Designs (LLD);
• Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to difficult and complex problems;

• Ability to communicate effectively in multi-disciplinary team environments including hybrid teams involving Client and Denver resources; and 

Preferred Skills;

• Experience in contributing to pre-sales estimates and developing Bill of Materials;
• Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) role;
• Experienced/exposure to Operational Technology/Industrial Networks; and 

• Mining/Resources and Oil and Gas Industry experience preferably onsite high advantageous.
