Position Summary The Maintenance planner scheduler is responsible for more efficient means of managing facilities maintenance and associated maintenance labor, freeing hours for additional business priorities. Planningamp; scheduling for all maintenance to be conducted using current Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) application and standardized business processes. This role will report to the Regional Maintenance Manager Shifts Available: This position is scheduled as a condensed work week, Monday -Friday (7:30am to 4:00pm), however may require occasionally being available outside of these hours. Dutiesamp; Responsibilities: Plans, schedules, coordinates, and assigns all frequency and work type maintenance activities for group or team of responsibility. Optimizes maintenance team by balancing workload to labor availability partnering with coaches. Planners to spread PMs. Supports implementation and execution of Service Channel. Complies with all system standards and specifications to ensure database integrity and standardization. Manages asset maintenance parts ordering process for assigned team(s) and optimizes efforts through PM (Preventive Maintenance) Collects data and collaborates with operations team to optimize maintenance programs. Ensures compliance to CMMS and Maintenance business process, maintains maintenance record standards and specs through periodic data auditing Maintains liaison with facilities technicians and other management regarding work execution, necessity of altering schedules and manpower status Tracks all asset information, including spare parts and documentation, arranges for special tools and equipment and tracks all asset information, including spare parts, documentation, and Booked Labor Continuous improvement of the work planning and scheduling process through the review and use of maintenance metrics, analysis of work order flow, project demands and expectations. Cross site coverage - supports other sites and acts as a resource to mentor junior employees. This includes physically visiting other sites as needed. Facilitate/Attend team Pass down or Operations meeting to communicate the plan and schedule for the day/week maintenance activities. Provides weekly reports to maintenance managers, identifies risks and gaps and provides resolution plans. Provides direction for inventory clerk (CMMS Admin). May at times provide support with managing physical inventory, (wall to wall). Responsible for coordinating site specific audits related to insurance, city etc. Support executionamp; maintenance of SOPs, toolboxes etc. Share ownership for maintenance KPIs, including dashboard data. Responsible for handling POs, invoices as required by the role. Support in yearly capex/opex budget configuration. The position requires trips to other Milton Locations (X3, Halton hills )while based at the main location( M1) (As required for assigned tasks which can be once a week). Other relevant duties as assigned. - Qualification Standards : Experience in planning and scheduling the work of hourly employees using CMMS systems. Extensive building systems knowledge, preferably across multiple disciplines including CMMS, Automation and Material Handling. Solid personal computer skills: Hardware and software including Microsoft Office Products. In depth subject matter expert level knowledge of facilities planningamp; scheduling Leadership skills (training, presentations,amp; team building) and project management. Organizational skills coupled with the leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to manage multiple maintenance activities simultaneously.
