Speech Journeys is a growing private speech-language pathology company providing services primarily in Halton and Peel regions. Looking to hire contract Speech-Language Pathologists with a part-time caseload and possibility of full-time case-load in the near future. We are currently providing virtual and in-person visits in client homes in the following areas: Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Georgetown, Acton, Rockwood, and other surrounding areas.Starting as soon as available, the successful candidate will provide assessments and direct one-on-one therapy sessions to children and/or adults. SLPs can decide their own schedules but may be required to work some evenings and weekends. Training and/or mentorship can be provided.Responsibilities- Conducts speech-language assessments- Creates treatment plans with client-centered goals and carries out therapy sessions- Participates in team discussions/collaborations- Facilitates parent coaching and assigns carry-over activities (e.g. home programs)- Maintains complete client records and reports on client progress in accordance with CASLPO standards- Maintains clean and safe materials, adhering to COVID-19 precautions- Provides virtual and in-person services- Travels for in-home servicesQualificationsCandidates must meet the following requirements:- Graduate from an accredited Masters SLP Program- Member in good standing with CASLPO- Professional Liability Insurance- Excellent oral and written English communication skills (French and other languages would be beneficial)- Have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle- One year of clinical experience preferredJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 20-40 per weekPay: $110.00 per hourSchedule:
