In business for over 30 years, PBS is the third largest DMS (Dealership Management System) provider to the North American retail automotive industry. After you join the team, we will continue the process of moving you into new roles based on your talents, growth, and interests.The Role:As a Systems Analyst (IT & Infrastructure) – Tier 1 you will provide excellent support to our internal customers. The ideal candidate is a technical and customer service-oriented individual who is eager to learn. This role provides the opportunity to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.This role will be based in our Milton office. This is not a remote work opportunity.Responsibilities:

  • Provide a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable first point of contact for PBS staff seeking technical problem resolution or requests (both in person and remotely)
  • Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise
  • Escalate critical issues to senior team members
  • Respond to support requests in a timely manner
  • Work on special projects as assigned
  • Manage system backups
  • Manage VOIP System
  • Deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair of computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
  • Manage assets and maintain inventory
  • Keep users informed about their escalations/incident’s status at agreed intervals
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Customer focus / excellent Customer Service skills
  • Strong problem solving & trouble shooting Skills
  • Effective time management & organization
  • Strong multi-tasking & prioritization
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Willingness to commit to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, 2012/2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Strong analytical, organizational, incident management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot within Windows 10/11 Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Networking, VLANS, VPNS and Firewalls
  • Understanding of windows deployments via SCCM/Intune/FOG and remote deployment Applications
  • Thorough understanding of PC Hardware & Software with a focus on Microsoft Products
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V
  • Knowledge of backups technologies
  • Available to work nonstandard hours starting at 5:00, 6:30 or 8:00am and occasionally Saturday and/or Sunday.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs / 22 kg
