The Corporation of the County of Haliburton RequiresOne (1) Permanent Truck Driver/Equipment OperatorTwo (2) Seasonal 1 Operators/LabourersTwo (2) Seasonal Flagperson/LabourersThe County of Haliburton Roads Department is accepting applications from qualified individuals interested in obtaining permanent employment as a Truck Driver/Equipment Operator or seasonal employment as a Seasonal 1 Operator/Labourer or Seasonal Flagperson/Labourer from mid-April to end of October, 2022.Successful Truck Driver/Equipment Operator candidates will possess an AZ licence and will have experience operating heavy equipment such as tandem trucks with a combination snow plow/sander, loaders and backhoes. The hourly rate for this unionized CUPE 1960 position is $25.78.Successful Seasonal 1 Operator/Labourer candidates will possess a DZ licence and have experience in traffic control, culvert replacement, maintenance and repair as well as the ability to perform heavy manual labour duties in an outside environment. The hourly rate for this unionized CUPE 1960 position is $24.24.Successful Flagperson/Labourer candidates will have experience in traffic control and be able to perform heavy manual labour duties in an outside environment.
