Job Description

Inventory AnalystPermanent positionPosition to fill 1Code APP22-12Work location is in MontrealDeadline to apply November 23, 2022The normal work schedule is 9 hours/day including the meal period equivalent to 40 paid hours per week.Privileges & benefits

ResponsibilitiesReporting to the General Warehouse Foreman, the Inventory Analyst develops and implements tools and procedures to measure, analyze and increase the efficiency and quality of the warehouse service through effective inventory management. His/her main responsibilities are: Responsible for the accuracy of all inventory data and forecasts;
  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining service levels.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of all data and forecasts.
  • Primary interface with operations to transmit and incorporate forecasts into the replenishment plan.
  • Generates inventory parts replenishment requests.
  • Reviews excess inventory and dead stock inventory.
  • Develops and implements systems and procedures for inventory management.
  • Establish and review with product users the minimum/maximum quantities to be maintained in inventory based on criticality, price, service level, lead times and delivery methods.
  • Ensure inventory integrity through cyclical counts and any other necessary counts
  • Analyze and explain inventory adjustments
  • Develop, produce and analyze various reports to optimize inventory and facilitate decision making.
Qualifications
  • University degree Bachelors degree in supply chain, operations research or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Advanced or expert level knowledge of Excel software, especially for handling and exploring large files (PivotTable, SEARCHV, etc.)
  • Good and effective negotiation skills; attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of IT Guide is an asset.
Assets
  • Experience in mining.
  • Knowledge of supply and inventory management, transport logistics and management of hazardous materials.
  • Bilingual (English/French).
  • Knowledge of IT Guide.
