Investissez en vous et rejoignez Agropur pour vous réaliser à votre plein potentiel.The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for the day to day management of the Retail Distribution network. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily management of the direct to store deliveries for major retail accounts within New Brunswick
  • Participate in and suggest cost savings initiatives to improve network results
  • Analyze and explain the costs associated with routes under your responsibility
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repairs of route equipment (ex: handhelds, printers, pallet movers, etc)
  • Support Agropur’s third party carriers with billing concerns and route quantities analysis
  • Work with our internal operation teams in warehousing and production to ensure accurate, on time delivery for our customers
  • Respond to service requests from our external customers related to delivery schedules or delivery requirements
  • Assist with Holiday Planning and delivery schedules for all Nova Scotia Super Routes;
  • Facilitate off day and emergency order requests
  • Participate in the weekly Saturday rotation for all distribution activity in New Brunswick
  • Additional tasks and general duties as required
Requirements
  • A college or university degree in a related field or equivalent experience;
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related field, previous experience in a logistics environment is preferred;
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Solid knowledge of computers and computer applications (especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook); exposure to Discoverer and VELO an asset;
  • Strong command of English (written and verbal);
  • Autonomous, organized, disciplined, customer-oriented, health and safety focused and a team player;
  • Knowledge of the Ontario region would be considered an asset.
