Invest in yourself and join Agropur to realize your full potential.We have an immediate opening for a Part time Machine Operator at our Miramichi Location. The successful candidate will undergo three weeks of training.DUTIES: Perform all duties relating to the position of Machine Operator, including:

  • Operate various types of fillers and case washers. Perform wash up procedures.
  • Perform equipment tear down. Manufacture products to establish specifications.
  • Perform general housekeeping. Empty garbage dumpsters. Prepare cases for production.
  • Check daily inventory and make adjustments to daily production planned.
  • Set up pasteurizer-tanks/silos/lines for daily production.
  • Prepare vitamins for daily production.
  • Mix batches of dairy by-products and do associated testing required with batch making.
  • Able to operate a controlled computerized panel.
  • Co-ordinate batch making operations with filler production.
  • Maintain batching and pasteurizing records.
  • Wash up system manually and through a CIP system.
  • Operate CIP unit and perform wash up procedures on tanks, trucks, silos and raw lines.
  • Receive and complete testing on incoming raw milk. Operate case washer.
These duties are only the basic and prime duties of the position; related duties will be assigned from time to time as may become necessary to the operation of Dairy Operations.QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Must possess knowledge of good manufacturing and sanitation practices.
  • Must possess, or be prepared to obtain, milk grader’s certificate.
  • Must be able to accept direction and complete in reasonable period of time.
  • Must be capable of completing documentations as required.
Previous experience on a production line would be an asset. Proven attendance record. Must be able to work with various types of chemicals. Must be able to perform multiple tasks.Quick Apply
