  • High school graduation or equivalent.
  • Must be physically able to work steadily at assigned duties.
  • Standing and walking for a majority of the work schedule.
  • Requires full use of upper and lower limbs and must be able to work with arms raised above shoulder level.
  • Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Good work record.
  • Written and spoken competence in English is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The Food Services Worker A is responsible for:
  • Preparing meal trays
  • Loading and activating meal carts
  • Setting up and closing food preparation equipment
  • Preparing basic food items and monitoring food temperatures
  • Portioning, delivering and serving foods
  • Cleaning and sanitizing small ware, equipment, and work areas
  • Restocking and storing supplies and maintaining inventory records
  • Operating the cash register and preparing deposits and reports.
