Job Description

MOBILE MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORPermanent positionPosition to fill 1Code MM22-19The place of work is in NunavikDeadline to apply august 30, 2022The place of work is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks paid i.e., 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks paid to rest.Privileges & benefits

ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Senior Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the mobile maintenance supervisor will be in charge of all the mechanical management of the vehicle fleet of the different sectors of the Expo site. His main responsibilities are:
  • Manage a team of 15 people (+/-);
  • Identify the work to be done on the mobile equipment fleet: construction equipment, heavy road vehicles, light vehicles, drills, and other
  • Ensure the quality of the work done by your team;
  • Organize and manage your department in order to respond adequately to different requests.
  • Collaborate with planners in the preparation of work and parts orders;
  • Minimizing downtime for production equipment;
  • To evaluate and hire staff for his department.
Qualifications
  • Hold a professional diploma (DEP) in related field;
  • 4 -7 years of experience in a similar position;
  • High knowledge of the various mining equipment;
  • Knowledge of the different maintenance management systems;
  • Possession of a valid drivers license.
Assets
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
