Job Description

The National Fleet Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administering fleet programs and preparing related documentation. The Fleet Administrator will also provide general business support to the department.This hybrid position can be based in Calgary, AB or Cambridge, ON.What we #39;ll offer you:

What you #39;ll do:
  • Responsible for fleet maintenance follow-up between third-party fleet maintenance provider (e.g. Holman Fleet Services) and Fleet Managers to ensure all required vehicle maintenance is completed on-time.
  • Responsible for following up on Fleet specific documentation from vendors and/or internal field teams (IE annual safety inspections, wheel re-torque forms, etc).
  • Support and coordinate fuel management programs with regions including card distribution, account management and field compliance.
  • Coordinate fleet licensing, the annual licensing renewal and license plate replacements when needed.
  • Collaborate with regions on the collection of fleet data including fleet locations, descriptions, vehicle status and mileage.
  • Coordinate the collection of carrier profile reports on a quarterly basis and collection of driver abstracts on an annual basis.
  • Assist with the disposal of surplus and end of life fleet equipment
  • Assist with the preparation of Fleet Standards and distribution of information to the regions.
  • Various other projects and cost savings initiatives.
What you bring:
  • Minimum of community college diploma or equivalent training.
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good understanding and knowledge of fleet management including regulatory standards, fuel procurement and licensing.
  • Well organized and excellent time management skills with proven project management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Solid collaborative team player with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to gain the trust and confidence of managers.
  • Fluency in French/English, both written and verbal, would be considered an asset.
