DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS – ATLANTIC REGION Moncton, NBOur client, a leader in the transportation industry, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Operations to oversee their operations in the Atlantic Region. Based in Moncton, New Brunswick, this senior leadership role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective delivery of transportation services across the region. The Director of Operations will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the business, improving operational performance, and driving growth in the Atlantic provinces.As the successful candidate you will be responsible for overseeing the daily transportation operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies. Key responsibilities will include monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets, developing operational strategies, and driving the implementation of technology and process improvements to enhance efficiency. You will also be accountable for developing, coaching and managing a team of direct and indirect reports across the region.The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry. A proven track record of managing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and improving productivity is essential. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, a deep understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols would be a definite asset.
