Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Food and Beverage Server to join our client #39;s team, contributing to their commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. If you have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a friendly demeanour, we invite you to apply for this position.Work Setting: RestaurantRequirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
    • Address customers #39; complaints or concerns
    • Prepare and serve specialty food at customers #39; tables
    • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, traveller #39;s cheques or room billings
    • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
    • Advise on menu selections
    • Balance cash and record sales
    • Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
    • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
    • Serve food and beverages
    • Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs
    • Provide customer service
    Security and Safety: Criminal record check.Computer and Technology knowledge:
    • Electronic cash register.
    • Point of sale system.
    Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
    • Work in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
    • Stand for extended periods and move throughout the dining area.
    • Lift trays, carry trays of food and beverages, and serve customers efficiently.
