He/She completes the day-to-day maintenance to ensure thorough and accurate general ledgers, with various reports. This position analyzes, and processes journal entries and reconciliations. He/She reviews standard month-end entries. This position communicates and documents accounting procedures for specialized accounting and financial transactions. Working in the office will be a requirement, minimum two days a week.Responsibilities:

  • Creates and modifies reports.
  • Communicates with users to deliver solutions for enhancements, updates, and testing.
  • Administers access to reporting tools.
  • Interfaces with F amp;A systems and IT on production issues.
  • Reviews data and provides feedback to management, F amp;A Systems, and project team.
  • Works closely with internal and external Auditors.
  • Reviews revenue allocation processed data to ensure statutory, managerial and product level reporting is accurate and complete.
  • Analyzes variances.
  • Identifies, develops and implements process improvements.
  • Contributes to department cross training critical functions as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s Degree or International equivalent -An asset but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of internal systems and tools
  • Experience creating and generating reports using Microsoft products or equivalent software
  • Knowledge of general accounting and/or finance processes
