Job Description

Our team is growing!We are your Maritime John Deere Dealership with 15 locations to serve you, and we are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Sales Manager at our Moncton/Sussex locations. This role will oversee the Sales teams at our Moncton and Sussex locations, travel will be required between the two stores. Purpose:Works with the Branch Manager/Store Lead to manage sales functions including providing guidance on sales processes, coaching, and developing sales professionals. Responsible for branch inventory audits, and works with Sales, Parts, and Service Departments to create a cohesive environment, making recommendations of opportunities for the sale of parts and service products.Responsibilities

  • Works with the sales teams to help in the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area/store and maintains commitment to the company and John Deere brand
  • Stays current on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all equipment
  • Proactively monitors competitive activity/products and communicates to management
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of all customer events and field demonstrations
  • Maintains knowledge of financing options and assist the sales team with securing the purchase of new and used goods
  • Attends applicable sales training events as required
  • Works with our used equipment process to ensure accurate used valuations and drive used equipment sales
  • Works with sales reps to achieve Annual Sales Goals and grow market share
  • Submits sales in a timely fashion, following all sales processes
  • Help new salespeople understand our sales process and help them increase there sales volume
  • Give input in the management of existing sales staff and offer assistance in recruitment and selection of new sales staff
Requirements
  • 3+ years equipment sales experience
  • Knowledge of turf equipment operations and uses an asset
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Valid driver #39;s license
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
