Job Description

Position Summary Under the direct Supervision of the Manager, Slot Department, this position is responsible for all activities and customer service issues with customer jackpot payouts, and handling problems regarding the machines related to the operation of machine gaming in our casino while overseeing the Slot Attendants. Ensures adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Key AccountabilitiesResponding to escalated guest concerns on the gaming floor, handling large jackpot payouts Supervises frontline team members and assigns work duties; Coaching and mentoring employees, creates an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun and recognizes excellent team member performance; Makes scheduling adjustments as required Providing prompt, courteous service to assure guests have an enjoyable gaming experience Reporting issues to the Slot Manager Signing jackpots and cancelled credits Clearing bill and ticket jams and checking game and voucher histories to maintain game integrity, answer questions and solve disputes Actively seeking out and addressing customer needs and machine problems Assisting with awareness of and excitement for ongoing and upcoming Casino promotions Assists management in the interviewingamp; hiring process; Working in compliance with internal controls, company policies and procedures and/or the governing policies and procedures; report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary Acquiring and maintaining a strong knowledge of all Slot operations policies and procedures Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Manages other initiatives as requiredEducation and QualificationsPost-secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience 1 year Slot experience preferred along with previous supervisory experience Must be able to effectively lead and provide direction to a team Strong oral and written communication skills Manual dexterity, technical aptitude and trouble shooting ability is an asset Basic knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset Must have a professional attitude, strong interpersonal skills and be a proven team player Must be 19 years of age or older Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Gaming Registration within applicable province (New Brunswick).Work Environment ConsiderationsRegular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, exposure to some conflict, distress and noise, non-traditional work hours.
