  • Be the main point of contact for management and support staff regarding day-to-day HR operations, best practices, policies and procedures
  • Provide recommendations and guidance in weekly HR coaching sessions with supervisors and managers, on topics such as attendance, performance, talent management, leaves of absence, progressive discipline, etc.
  • Advise on and communicate events throughout the employee lifecycle including leaves of absences, promotions and exits, and complete relevant documentation
  • Investigate and respond to general employee and manager concerns or inquiries on a timely basis
  • Export, consolidate and analyze monthly HR data reports with different internal partners
  • Manage all CNESST claims and files
  • Assist with implementation and communication of policies, procedures and ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or equivalent
  • Canadian or provincial Human Resources Professional designation, an asset
  • Two (2) to three (3) + years related generalist experience in a client-focused Human Resources department, preferably in a customer service space or related organization
  • Good knowledge of current legislation, human resources practices, procedures and policies
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with an ability to coach and influence others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, in both French and English
