We are proud to hire and retain aspirational leaders who are driven to achieve great things and are recognized for their entrepreneurial spirit.Job Summary:The E-commerce team is looking for an Online Copywriter, Garage to be responsible for writing compelling and on-brand product and web copy for the dynamiteclothing.com website, as well as managing E-commerce samples. They will build strong relations with multiple departments to successfully gather and track E-commerce samples that need to be sent to the Photo studio. They will also be responsible for writing SEO-rich product descriptions and web content that inspires purchases and helps improve the website’s search engine ranking.You will be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick & mortar retailer, to an omni-channel leader and tech-first fashion disruptor.Responsibilities:PRODUCT COPYWRITING (30%) 2.1 DAYS

  • Produce, edit, and proofread valuable descriptions for all products featured on dynamiteclothing.com using the sample and product platform;
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure product descriptions reflect the proper benefits, tone of voice, vision, and customer needs;
  • Coordinate with the Translation team for the French translation and implement all copy into our Product Information System.
SEO COPYWRITING (25%) 1.75 DAYS
  • Use keywords and research data effectively to help drive traffic and improve the website’s overall search engine ranking;
  • Optimize product landing pages and product description pages so that search engines can find them better by writing and implementing high-quality and SEO-rich content (meta titles, meta descriptions, footer text, etc.) into our commerce solution, SalesForce Commerce Cloud.
SAMPLE COORDINATION (45%) 3.15 DAYS
  • Proactively communicate with the Sourcing team and buyers to locate, track, and follow up on sample deliveries for E-commerce photoshoots;
  • Organize and label all E-commerce samples in priority based on receipt date in preparation for all Photoshoots;
  • Ensure that all samples are received in a timely manner and are shot with enough lead time to hit the site when inventory is received;
  • Keep all records and documentation up to date and readily accessible to understand where the bottleneck is and to easily communicate lags/issues to the cross-functional teams;
  • Keep the sample closet organized and clean.
GOALS
  • SEO training/digital boot camp;
  • Processes for seasonal/styling team;
  • UDA project/rethink descriptions;
  • Search term optimizations;
  • SEO: more consistent delivery/ownership (TB landing pages).
Qualifications:
  • University-level degree in Marketing, English Literature or related field;
  • Minimum 1-3 years of related work experience, writing for publications (print or online) an asset;
  • Experience with writing SEO-focused copywriting;
  • Experience with typical content management systems an asset;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel;
  • Exceptional written communication skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Understanding of fashion and clothing details;
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines;
  • Proven collaborative team player;
  • Prioritizing multi-tasker with a sense of urgency;
  • Self-motivated and can work independently;
  • Have a good eye for marketing copy that sells;
  • Adapt quickly when scope changes;
  • Detail-oriented and creative;
  • Bilingual: French and English (written and spoken).
