Job Description

Bilingual Medical Office Assistant - Remote We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our client #39;s team in the insurance industry. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, providing you the convenience of working from home while contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will support the National Group Disability organization, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $23.80.• 12-month contract.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Remote work: schedule from 8:30 am. to 4:30 pm.• Opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment.• Join a passionate and inclusive team of professionals.Responsibilities:• Process Access Requests by reviewing the request and consent to identify correct information and authority to proceed.• Review access requests meticulously, redacting third-party information to prevent privacy breaches.• Refer privacy breach incidents to the employee’s leader for resolution and reporting.• Handle emails across multiple group email inboxes.• Set up disability claims and manage follow-ups.• Handle Client and Control Reports.• Issue payments for vendor invoices.• Conduct data entry from claim forms to the claims payment system (Navigator).• Manage correspondence with claimants, clients, or other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with privacy protocols.• Track, search, and retrieve offsite files.• Handle media files.• Assist with new client onboarding and file transfers.• Coordinate new hire onboarding, including ordering IT equipment and access.• Provide IT equipment support for existing employees.What you will need to succeed:• Post-secondary education (college or university level) is preferred.• Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).• Strong PC skills with experience using Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.• Strong organization, prioritization, and planning abilities.• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.• Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage high workload volumes and conflicting deadlines.• Fast learner who is analytical, proactive, and takes initiative.• Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies/issues.• Demonstrates tact and diplomacy.• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2000003) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
