Job Description

Present on five continents, the LCI Education network has 23 higher education campuses and some 3,000 employees who train more than 17,000 students each year around the world. A member of the network, LaSalle College offers vocational, college and pre-university training. Located in the heart of downtown Montreal, it is the largest bilingual college in North America. It has 6 specialized schools offering more than 60 programs: Fashion, Arts and Design; VFX and Video Games; Hospitality and Tourism; Management and Technology; Human Sciences and Techniques; and Online Training.Summary of the functionThe main and usual role of the employee in this job class is to carry out various technical tasks of an administrative nature, particularly in areas related to the management of financial and material resources and to school organization. In his or her work, the administrative technician may assist staff as well as the users of the department concerned.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Issue reports and validate changes to student schedules
  • Verify out-of-schedule courses and delete those not entered;
  • Follows procedures for the cleaning of teaching evaluations and ensures that they are updated;
  • Send messages to students for internship permit application and follow up;
  • Verify missing student documents to ensure compliance of physical records;
  • Schedule and compile student assessment results according to College guidelines.
  • Deposit the results of the student assessment in the teachers file on the intranet (Agora);
  • Validate the massive course selection proposals for the different sessions;
  • Perform all other related tasks.
Required qualifications
  • Hold a college diploma with an appropriate field of specialization or hold a diploma or attestation of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority.
Requirements of the position
  • Bilingualism (perfect oral and good written skills);
  • Basic knowledge of the Office suite;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook (asset);
  • Customer service skills;
  • Very good organizational skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
