Our offices are located in Montreal on Pierre-De Coubertin Avenue, near the Olympic Stadium.Responsibilities:

  • Provide back-up support to members of the whole team
  • Maintain quality services and be the contact person for all issues related to the support of team members
  • Develop and maintain good relations with the team
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with insurers representatives to facilitate the processing of business
  • Support the team in the implementation of client projects: Implementation of a new plan or change of insurer, plan design changes or other alternatives
  • Support the team in maintaining and organising the client file in the following stages:
    • Verification of contracts in place
    • Obtaining and verifying missing or incomplete information
    • The production of summaries of benefits
    • Creating the Excel Wage Deduction File
    • The review of insurers bills
    • Maintaining the demographics of post and pre-renewal employees
  • Implement corrective measures to meet high service standards and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Actively pursue customer retention
Skills and qualities required:
  • DEC or AEC in insurance and financial services
  • Three to five years experience in group insurance
  • Knowledge of benefit plan legislation, administrative issues, plan administration rules and client-specific methods
  • Have a good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good team spirit with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service by reaching out to customers needs through strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times in situations directly affecting users
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Have an affinity with computer systems
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems and overcome obstacles;
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation and follow-up skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet established deadlines by delivering expected results in a timely manner
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment;
  • Ability to work alone and in a team;
  • Ability to adapt quickly and easily to change
  • Respect for the confidentiality of information
