Job Description Position Title: Admissions AdvisorHiring Unit: Admissions Department – Canada CollegeSupervisor: VP of Marketing and Business DevelopmentWork Location: 1231 Saint-Catherine Street West, Montreal, Quebec, H3G 1P5Hours per week : 40Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - (9 A.M. - 5 P.M.)Planned Start Date: As soon as possible.PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Act as an advisor to candidates who wish to enroll in one of our AEC or language programs;
  • Achieve student recruitment objectives;
  • Inform potential students by phone, e-mail or in person about the programs offered
  • Follow up with students and ensure a diligent follow-up to facilitate their registration;
  • Record and maintain information and data collected in our systems
  • Analyze the educational background, diplomas and experiences presented in addition to the admission applications of candidates;
  • Analyzes the specific files of certain candidates and, if necessary, submits them to the verification service for decision;
  • Work in close collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as an advisor during school visits, career fairs, virtual workshops, etc;
  • Promote our institutions and programs at student recruitment events;
  • Write and update the information documents and automatic responses used in the email follow-up;
  • Any other related duties.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of sales and customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French, and Spanish.
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized self-starter
  • Self-discipline and the ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per yearBenefits:

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
  • Academic Admissions & Registrar Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
  • English, French, Spanish (preferred)
