• Assurer la conception et la production des VFX temps réel, systèmes de particules et des shaders animés respectant la direction établie.
• Intégrer les VFX et assurer leur optimisation sous la direction du chef d’équipe.
• Maintenir un style artistique cohérent sous la direction du chef d’équipe et du directeur artistique.
• Être désireux dapprendre (et denseigner) de nouveaux outils et techniques (L’implémentation des VFX temps réels s’effectue au sein d’un outil interne)
• Collaborer avec les designers, l’équipe animation, les programmeurs gameplay et léquipe artistique ainsi que le département outils et moteur.

• Creating real-time VFX, particle systems and animated shaders respecting the established visual direction.
• Implementing and optimizing VFX assets under the direction of the Lead Artist.
• Maintaining a consistent art style under the direction of the Lead Artist and the Art Director.
• Being willing to learn (and teach) new tools and techniques (The implementation of real time VFX is done within an internal tool).
• Collaborating with designers, animators, gameplay programmers and the art team overall, while working closely with the tools and engine department.

QualificationsExpérience et compétences recherchées :

• Au minimum, un diplôme d’étude collégial en art graphique ou équivalent;
• Bonne connaissance en création deffets spéciaux dans un moteur de jeu (Unity or Unreal);
• De solides compétences techniques pour aider à la création de nouveaux processus de production deffets visuels;
• Bon sens organisationnel et attentif aux processus de production;
• Être à laise avec des outils de scripting pour déclencher des effets lors dévènements en jeu;
• Capable de fournir une large variété d’effets visuels temps réel adaptés à un univers stylisé (outils, armes, skills, environnemental, atmosphérique, créatures, véhicules, Interfaces, motion graphics);
• Capacité à prendre les remarques positivement et répondre constructivement aux critiques;
• La maîtrise de Photoshop et d’After Effects est souhaitable. La connaissance d’Houdini et de Substance Designer(ou équivalent) pour la génération de texture est un atout;
• Bonne capacité à résoudre les problèmes;
• Motivé avec une bonne éthique de travail, et prêt à relever de nouveaux défis;

Passionné de jeu vidéo;***Experience and qualifications:

• At minimum, a college diploma in graphic arts or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of real-time VFX creation in a game engine (Unity or Unreal).
• Solid technical abilities to aid in creating new VFX art pipelines.
• Being meticulous and organized in approaching tasks, adhering to pipeline workflows.
• Comfortable using scripting tools to trigger effects tied to game events.
• Able to conceptualize and animate very stylized, natural, and fantastical effects (tools, weapons, skills, environmental, atmospherical, creatures, vehicles, UI, and motion graphics).
• Ability to receive feedback and respond to criticism positively.
• Experience in Photoshop or After Effects is preferred. Knowledge in Houdini and Substance Designer (or similar) for texture generation is a bonus.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and ready to take on new challenges.
• Passionate about video games.
