Visit our website www.dormakaba.comSummaryUnder the authority of the supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the assembly, the visual inspection, the testing and the packing of the electronic locks as per established instructions.Main responsibilities

  • Prepare the assembly station as per requested on the production order slip
  • Assemble the locks by positioning the parts per assembly instructions, by hand or with manual or electric tools, such as a screwdriver
  • Test and verify that the lock works properly as per specifications
  • Repair the defective locks by reassembling them or by replacing some of the parts
  • Identify the defective components and complete the reject report
  • Report difficulties and malfunctions or deviations on the assembly line
  • Pack the locks
  • Prepare sub-assemblies if needed
  • Other related tasks as required.
Requirements
  • High school degree (a must)
  • Proficient manual dexterity and visual acuity (essential)
  • Fast paced
  • Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of assembly procedures
  • Experience in assembly of many complex and diverse products
  • Multitasked
  • Able to use a pneumatic screwdriver
  • Computer literacy (data entry)
  • Team spirit
  • Opened to cross training
  • English or French.
