Position is located at our Chambly location.Assistant Wetout ManagerReporting to the Wetout Manager, the Wetout Assistant Wetout Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Wetout facility and production. Overall, this position is responsible for meeting customer demands of the production schedules while maintaining a quality product in a safe work environment.Insituform Technologies® is a leading worldwide provider of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and other technologies and services for the rehabilitation of pipeline systems.   • Manage and supervision of the wetout facility
  • Responsible for working with and managing a team through the wetout process
  • Participate and assist in all wetout processes
  • Supervises all Wetout staff such as Foreman, labourers, drivers, temp personnel and administrative resources.
  • Meet demands of the production schedules by ensuring facility is properly staffed and adequate supervision is in place at all times.
  • Communicates and enforces safety programs and procedures; help conducts routine safety inspections; conducts safety meetings; ensures proper use and maintenance of equipment; identifies and implements safety improvements.
  • Implementing accurate job costing and inventory procedures that will lead to a high level of productivity and quality.
  • Reviewing and analyzing production, quality, maintenance and operational reports to determine trends and areas with opportunity for improvement.
  • Ensuring proper equipment and materials are in place when needed.
  • Responsible for processing tube orders within established time frame.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and maintain an accurate inventory of materials, spare parts, consumable supplies and tools.
  • Ensure all resin, chemicals, liners and materials are received accurately and timely within the system.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and coordinate with wet out administrator to maintain an accurate inventory of materials. Maintain an inventory of spare parts for facility equipment. Manage consumable supplies and tools.
  • Enter all resin, chemicals, liners and materials in the computer system.
  • Works with Wetout Foreman to maintain preventative maintenance schedules, helps to diagnose and fix equipment breakdowns or calls in correct resources.
  • Plans and coordinates logistics activities, ensures trucks/tractors and equipment are in full compliance and all systems are functioning properly.
  • Operate within budget while minimizing cost.
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS· 5+ years of experience working in a similar environment with experience leading a high-performance team in a challenging growth driven environment.· Possess strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and empower employees.· Strong communicator and be able to take the initiative to function without day-to-day guidance.· Committed to achieving results in a collaborative way and working with tight deadlines.· Bilingual (Oral and Written)· Passionate about quality and safety.· High level of personal integrity and credibility.· MS Office skills and the ability to learn new applications quickly.· Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.· First Aid, Forklift Operator, TDG, and WHIMIS certificates an asset.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per yearSchedule:
