The incumbent may be required to assist on customer service calls.Your day will look like this:

• Perform repairs on audiovisual equipment
• Communicate with manufacturers
• Research price and availability of parts as needed.
• Provide an estimate of parts and time required for repairs
• Order replacement parts
• Provide technical support to customers and colleagues
• Document work performed in our CRM
• Write reports on the completion of work
• Update internal documentation, in accordance with the modifications made
• Follow up on ongoing repairs
• Collaborate with the various stakeholders to ensure the best possible customer service

Your profile:

• DEC or DEP (electronics), electronic engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of professional equipment: sound, video projection and lighting
• Basic computer skills
• Fluency in both official languages, oral and written
• Relational skills and ability to communicate directly with the client
• Team oriented and collaborative
• Good management of priorities and respect for deadlines and tight deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
• Fine welding skills, surface mount, inspection and microscope work, hot air desoldering (an asset)
• Ability to travel to different customers, have a valid drivers license and passport (an asset)
• Must be available and open to working atypical hours according to exceptional projects
