Job Description

Headquartered in Montreal, Reflector, a company of the Bandai Namco group, is a new breed of studio working with top talents to create high-quality, compelling content for global audiences. By employing a true transmedia approach, where content is built outwards from fully fleshed “Storyworlds”, the company is able to tell richer, deeper stories that connect with fans everywhere.SUMMARYThe Business Partner, Talent and Culture support the realization of the studios business plans by accompanying, advising and coaching management and staff in all aspects of HR management related to strategic objectives and operations.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports and coaches managers in the management of their teams in terms of employee relations and the application of labour relations policies, laws and regulations;
  • Acts as a strategic partner of the organization to ensure alignment of HR initiatives;
  • Develops and recommends proactive strategies and action plans related to the HR plan, performance indicators and organizational challenges;
  • Contributes to and ensures equity in the salary review process; ensures the competitiveness of our total compensation offering;
  • Informs, guides and maintains a close relationship with the various teams in order to be aware of the sectors’ challenges and objectives;
  • Contributes to the implementation and revision of optimal organizational structures;
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of various HR projects and initiatives, with expertise and knowledge of business objectives and organizational challenges;
  • Provides advice and expertise to the Talent and Culture team on employee relations and global compensation;
  • Collaborates with the Business Partner, Organizational Development to identify team development needs and identify appropriate activities, tools and lines of action;
  • Conducts external monitoring of trends and best practices in talent management and global compensation;
  • Promotes the internal implementation of best practices and develops tools and performance indicators accordingly.
QUALITIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or equivalent;
  • Over 5 years of experience in a HRBP role;
  • Great knowledge of global compensation;
  • Excellent coaching and influencing leadership skills;
  • Excellent communication, listening and problem solving skills;
  • Very good understanding of the specific business issues of an entertainment organization, as well HR management issues;
  • Open-mindedness and ability to create links between the needs of the client group and corporate orientations, while demonstrating creativity in solutions;
  • Ability to handle several files simultaneously in an organized, structured and rigorous work approach.
