The successful candidate will work closely with a high performing and technologically driven team and will be responsible predominately for financial management of the Network Access CAPEX portfolio.Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for CAPEX portfolio maintenance and management as well as to provide detailed financial analysis to stakeholders.What you’ll be doing:

• Assist overall CAPEX spend targets and performance by setting up project budgets on a timely basis
• Review CAPEX portfolio to identify legacy projects targeted for closure and work with relevant stakeholders to clear out hurdles
• Review Project Change Requests and prepare supporting documentation to present to management and the senior leadership team
• Monitor portfolio for discrepancies in spend vs. budget and prepare presentations to adjust budgets accordingly
• Analyze large data sets to provide ad-hoc reports and actionable intelligence to relevant stakeholders
• Monitor portfolio for any risks and liaise with regional and national stakeholders in achieving timely solutions
• Support the manager with capital spend reporting packages, business cases, presentations, and ad hoc analysis
• Establish and automate controls for spend integrity across the CAPEX Network Access portfolio
• Work with SharePoint & Oracle Financial Systems (Oracle, Discoverer, Smartview, Noetix) to extract and automate data flows
• Design & develop workflow processes and tools/systems that allow the team to achieve greater efficiency

What you will bring:

• Previous relevant work experience;
• University Degree in economics, finance, accounting, or related field and have or working towards an accounting/finance designation (CPA/CA/CFA) would be an asset
• Ability to work with large datasets and handle multiple priorities
• Autonomous self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual as an asset
• Proficient with Office 365 suite of products with an emphasis on Excel (VBA would be considered an asset).
• Working knowledge of Power BI (DAX), and Power Query M Formula Language would be an asset
