Partner examples are I.T. Resellers, MSPs, telecom brokers, agents,consultants, and other businesses partners, located across the country.You will develop selected partners to successfully promote and sell TELUS services – from our connectivity and network backbone, to managed services, security solutions, cloud, unified communication, IoT and mobility. You will have access to various subject matter experts to help train and support you in the partner community.This role has aggressive pace, and it will be demanding. But with great expectations and performance, will comegreat rewards.Here’s how YOU will be successful:The Partner Sales Support Rep is primarily an inside sales support role, responsible for identifying, triaging, quoting, and expanding on qualified opportunities brought to TELUS from within our partner community – small and large. Duties include:

  • Provide quotes, product knowledge, and training, to help channel partners close opportunities
  • Return calls, emails, and quotes in under two hours
  • Provide timely follow-up to partner/customer issues 100% of the time, putting partners/customers first in all
  • interactions
  • Make it easy for our partners, and their customers, to do business with TELUS
  • Fostering relationships between channel partners and TELUS staff
  • Exceed sales objectives
  • Train partners on tools
  • Motivate Partners to significantly grow their current commissions
  • Expand new lines of business through partner engagement
  • Utilize SFDC for daily lead and opportunity management
  • Continuous personal and professional development
  • Managing potential channel conflicts

You have knowledge of or experience with most of the items below:
  • Above average SFDC utilization knowledge
  • Business and technical acumen - demonstrated ability to identify and articulate sound TELUS products and services solutions to partners
  • Excellent relationship building skills are essential
  • Strong sensitivity to partner needs and situations, analytical ability in discerning priority and non-priority issues, making decisions from a number of alternatives based on logic and fact, and capable of using persuasiveness in negotiating mutually satisfactory resolutions
  • Proven ability to create corporate relationships between TELUS and our partners that are characterized by mutual trust and respect for the TELUS value proposition
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • This is a non-SIP sales role. However, there is a bonus structure
