This will be a hybrid in-person/virtual position with lots of flexibility. In-person time will be spent at the corporate office in St-Leonard, Montreal. This is a temporary contract of minimum 12 months.Overview Of The RoleWe aim to foster a work environment where everyone feels valued and supported, and where we embrace everyone’s diversity through their uniqueness, similarities, and differences. Our objective is to provide equitable access to opportunities and a sense of belonging to all.With the autonomy to bring forth new ideas and optimize existing structures within the organization, the DEI Intern will collaborate closely with our DEI Senior Advisor, our Talent Management and DEI Director, as well as with the Global DEI Council across our divisions in Canada, the US, Argentina, the UK and Australia.How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Partner with the Communication Team on various requests, including
    • Support the planning and activation of the celebration of Days of Significance (I.e. Black History Month, International Women’s Day, World Mental Health Day)
    • Organizing and coordinating translation and design agency requests
  • Attend global and divisional DEI council meetings
  • Assist with collecting, analyzing, and reporting data in an engaging format
  • Provide ideas and identify opportunities for increased local involvement and visibility and impactful programs and event ideas (for wired and non-wired employees) and contribute to their implementation
  • Research DE&I topics, events, practices and approaches that can be implemented in our DEI strategy and initiatives
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Human Resource Management, Communication, Marketing or any other related field;
  • Strong collaborator: ability to work as part of a team, in a spirit of cooperation, and maintain excellent interpersonal relations
  • Sense of autonomy, proactivity and adaptability
  • Bilingual, written and spoken (French and English). Spanish is an asset.
