Job Description

As a Cyber Security Project Coordinator, you will engage with various stakeholders and collaborate across departments with product owners, solution specialists, developers, and management to deliver high-quality security-focused solutions. Your role will involve guiding product and development teams to define, develop, and deploy solutions that exceed customer expectations. Additionally, you will work to ensure that best practices for process and quality standards are maintained, fostering a culture of enhanced security solutions within the organization.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate high-level information into detailed business requirements.
  • Facilitate work sessions, focus groups, and application demonstrations as required.
  • Identify risks and issues during the design and implementation process, and effectively communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Support the development of a prioritized product backlog, including creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and scenarios for the development team.
  • Represent the voice of the customer throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in day-to-day solution team activities, including attending daily scrum meetings, leading refinement sessions, and providing direction and focus.
  • Make recommendations for improvements beyond initial requests.
  • Provide input to test plans, sign off on test cases, and participate in end-to-end (E2E) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Write and edit user procedural documentation such as user guides and manuals.
  • Provide timely support for customer issues and document all problems and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Requirements
  • Experience in business analysis, including collecting, documenting, and articulating requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to various audiences.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive timelines.
  • Action-oriented with a demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • Ability to work with change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a virtual setting.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with complex, technical, and abstract concepts.
  • Tenacity and a creative approach to achieving goals.
  • A team player with the confidence to escalate issues when necessary.
  • Government of Canada Secret clearance is required.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required.
  • 10 years of previous experience in the telecommunication industry and Government of Canada contracts.
Benefits
  • Working hours are Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Onsite up to 5 days a week
  • Location: Hybrid in Ottawa
  • Type of job: Temporary Contractor
  • Hourly contract rate: TBD depending on experience
  • Date candidate required: Immediate
  • Length of Contract: 12 months with the possibility of extension
