Only then are we able to define and operationalize a customer playbook that will lead to positive outcomes for our customers.Are our customers adopting our features and products sufficiently More importantly, are they deriving positive outcomes from using our products Which of our clients are struggling or at-risk Can we predict their customer health to act early on We believe the answers to those questions lie in the data and that’s where you come in.As a Data Scientist under the supervision of the Customer Success Director, you will be responsible for extracting meaningful insights from various data sources in order to help guide the strategic actions of the Customer Success Department. As a member of a growing team, you will also help to implement best practices to the management of the data pipeline, from capturing, processing, storing, analyzing and up to the visualization.Thanks to your technical expertise, you will ensure that the voice of our customers is at the heart of our decisions by leveraging the data behind their use of our products and services. A challenging mission!Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include the following activities:Make use of data analytics to tackle the problems that offer the greatest opportunities to the Customer Success Department with a core focus on developing a predictive Customer Health Score.

  • Collaborate with other departments and executive team to understand their business needs, processes and tools and how you can support them using data driven insights;
  • Apply best practices of data analytics to resolve problem:
  • Understanding the business needs and identifying relevant metrics;
  • Determining the correct data sets and variables;
  • Automate the collection of large sets of structured and unstructured data from disparate sources (SQL, marketing solutions, CRMs, accounting solutions) ;
  • Cleaning and validating the data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and uniformity;
  • Devising and applying models and algorithms to mine the stores of big data;
  • Analyzing the data to identify patterns and trends;
  • Interpreting the data to discover solutions and opportunities;
  • Communicating findings to stakeholders using visualization and other means;
  • Create and maintain dashboards that our internal stakeholders can consume to guide their decision-making process.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and innovations in the field of data science and analytics.
Qualifications
  • You hold a degree in data science, statistics, computer science, management information systems or relevant experience with statistical analysis
  • You have 1-3 years of relevant experience covering all the steps of the data pipeline, from data acquisition to data delivery.
  • You have worked with Business Intelligence (BI) solutions
  • You have an analytical mindset;
  • You have a desire to learn new techniques and technologies.
  • Bilingual (French & English) written and spoken.
