WHY JOIN THE TEAMAs a demand planner, you are responsible for creating, monitoring, analyzing and improving the demand forecast for both the short and long term, various product types and channels. You do this in cooperation with the Market Planning, Supply Planning and Deployment teams and help ensure our regional distribution centers capacity needs are clear to support the regional dealers’ sales.In addition to ensuring a smooth monthly demand forecast process, you are also responsible for monitoring the forecast accuracy and you are constantly looking for solutions and tools to improve the accuracy and the efficiency of the plan.In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to develop yourself within a broad field of the supply chain and operations. The emphasis is on cooperation with various departments, and with colleagues in our different distribution locations.We are looking for a supply chain professional who has experience in a global environment with several regional distribution centers, with an understanding of Master Data, DRP calculations and capacity planning. Strong analytical skill is required to evaluate and ability to identify resource constraints, risks and opportunities. We are looking for an entrepreneurial mindset to bring our demand planning process to the next level.The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of planning for multiple distribution centers. It will be critical for the candidate to have the knowledge and experience of working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, and the dynamic range to plan long lead times up to 2 to 3 years out while adapting to material movement or allocation on a week-by-week basis.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain a monthly demand plan in $/units for specific SKUs, channels and/or customers by utilizing various inputs including statistical forecasts, sales projections, point-of-sale data, promotions, product roadmaps, and market intelligenceDevelop demand plans for new product introductions and end-of-life productsMonitor regional promotions, events and market conditions to ensure accurate demand plansProvide analytical support to regional marketing activitiesParticipate in cross-functional consensus demand planning meetings to align on a Consensus Demand Plan (CDP) and ensure the timely hand-off of CDP to the Supply Planning organizationSupport regional S&OP by providing necessary demand-supply analysis reportsExecute corrective actions to update the demand plan and resolve gaps between actual orders and CDPWork with the Supply Planning team to highlight regional demand priorities and ensure adequate supply to satisfy demandWork closely with Regional Marketing and BU NPI teams to plan and execute successful product transitionsParticipate in regional demand planning process improvement projectsBe a key player in the S&OP processYOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSStrong interpersonal and collaboration abilitiesStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather data and use statistical techniques for analysisExperience conducting or participating in demand planning meetingsSelf-starter with excellent organization and time management skillsBe comfortable working in a project environmentExperience with demand planning/forecasting applications – preferably SAP APO / S/4, OptimizaStrong Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Access etc.) skills3 to 5 years experience in Supply Chain Planning in consumer electronics or high-tech or retail industryDemonstrated understanding of supply chain processes, specifically forecasting and demand planningExcellent communication, interpersonal skills, organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAPICS / CPIM / SCMP / CSCP / IBF certifications are nice to haveWELCOME TO BRPWe’re a world leader in recreational vehicles and boats, creating innovative ways to move on snow, water, asphalt, dirt and even in the air.
