Thank you for coming and spending some time with us. our website is here: www.2a.coThe Senior Ecommerce Photographer has a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills. Primary responsibility is to shoot and record pre-owned handbags and small leather goods. Following a clear guideline, then rinse and repeat. You only shoot photos of the product on a white background following a clear guideline, we like to think it is straightforward and easy. This is a freelance/seasonal position with a 35hour per week work week from monday to thursday from mid-september to mid december 2022. It is the peak season at 2a and we need you! Must be a self-motivator and have excellent communication skills while working with your teammates in Chabanel, Montreal.This job is located in Chabanel, Montreal. You will spend 100% of your time at our studio. an average of 50%-60% of your time in the studio.Reports to: Lead Senior PhotographerEssential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Possesses the knowledge and capability to flex their photography skills to style/shoot various product categories, as business needs dictates.
  • Provide creative & technical suggestions to elevate the quality of the image being captured.
  • Lead and develop new Style Guide updates.
  • Must be skilled in sample management and tracking. They will communicate with our warehouse partners to ensure product moves quickly through the .com processes and are ATP (available to purchase) within a 48 hour internal SLA.
  • Work with Digital Asset Supervisor on site audits and image feedback process.
  • Responsible for basic set checks, calibrations, and equipment maintenance. Familiarity with Canon, Godox and Capture One gear a plus!
  • All equipment will be provided to you.
  • A stylist will be available to you, to help with efficiency and speed during shoots.
  • Maintains sample organization and ensures priorities are met.
  • Partner closely with Retouching team to coordinate best practices with end goals in mind, and seamlessly deliver files from photography into retouching.
  • Study handbag industry trends, develop best practices, and ensure product styling best in class.
  • Must have basic excel skills to ensure they are able to interpret shot list, workload, and communicate with our partners in the site operations process.
  • May occasionally be asked to shoot on-location for events, corporate head shots, adhoc social content, etc. Must be comfortable with both natural light and OCF to adapt to any situation.
Required Skills:
  • Extremely organized, excellent communication skills – listening, speaking and writing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of O365, especially Excel, a plus!
  • Keen eye for lighting, details, and have an ability to style handbags across all categories.
  • Prior knowledge of digital photography including; Photoshop CC, Canon equipment, Mac, and Godox equipment (preferred).
  • Must be process oriented and maintain the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, in a fast-paced and growing team environment.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and fashions.

Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce photo studio space.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Prior experience with process development and improvement
Education:
  • Technical or College Degree in related field
