Job Description

Company DescriptionArtist-driven company by nature, it’s our mission to give talented artists the freedom and resources they need to deliver quality work and to thrive in a fun and creative environment.Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of 2D and working in close collaboration with Show Teams, the Outsource Producer, the Head of Production - Management as well as the Global Resources Manager, the Editorial Assistant I/O will primarily assist with the ingest and publish of material for awarded and active shows.Main responsibilities:

  • They are responsible for the download and ingestion of packages sent to Rodeo FX from Clients or Outsource Vendors
  • Reference Placement onto Rodeo FX Network following guidelines and naming conventions, all the while maintaining and upkeeping the folder structure onto Rodeo FX’s network
  • They are also responsible to send any materials from our filesystem into client designated platforms.
  • They are to support the Show PAs in the data management shown in Client Calls CineSync.
  • Work with and support Comp Supervisors setting up Rio Graphs for their show.
  • Import media to avid projects, update sequences and prepare end of show projects (eg. supply marketing with All Shots, In Context, and, Before and After edits.)
  • Stay abreast of upcoming editorial work
  • Will actively participate in delivery Quality Control (QC’ing)
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken. Functional french;
  • Excellent knowledge of GSuite and Microsoft Office. Intermediate level of Excel;
  • Good knowledge of Shotgun/Shotgrid project management software;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills;
  • Excellent sense of prioritization and respect of deadlines;
