Job Description
  • Responsible for performing accounting operations and analyses related to AIM Groups fixed assets projects.
  • Code fixed assets and calculating depreciation for all entities of the company.
  • Provide support to internal clients and act as a super user in our D365 Finance and Operations accounting system for the fixed assets module.
  • Ensure the follow-up of the financial management of construction projects.
  • Responsible for maintaining the continuity schedule of fixed assets as well as the assignment of tax class to new acquisitions.
  • Participate in the development of annual acquisition budgets across the group.
  • Participate in all process improvement projects in capital assets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, accounting and/or finance
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite
  • Very good knowledge of the accounting cycle and principles
  • Knowledge of Maximo (IBM) and D365 (an asset)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and thoroughness; autonomy and sense of responsibility, ability to work under pressure, planning and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
