Job Description

Food Service Team Member (Sushi Chef)Join Team Bento and be a part of our group of companies which operates more than 5600 locations globally. With operations across Canada and United States, Bento brings together a dynamic team of people with diverse backgrounds, experience, and talent, to create an exceptional guest experience.Come roll with us as a Food Service Team Member (Sushi Chef) and play a key role in “Creating better food for everyone, the Japanese way”, at our Montreal, QC location:

  • Compass: Vanier College, 821 Ave Sainte Croix Montreal, QC H4L 3X9 - Monday to Friday - 7:00am to 2:00pm

The ideal candidate will work effectively as part of a team, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. No sushi preparation experience required; Bento offers the necessary training! We will even provide your uniform.
  • Prepare and measure ingredients
  • Preparation of sushi and other dishes (salads, rice bowls and sushi)
  • Answer customers’ questions and offer recommendations
  • Keep the workstation clean and tidy in accordance with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
  • Perform any other task required for the smooth running of operations
Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift a load of 15 kg (33 lb)
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period
  • Be able to work in a team with good communication skills
