Devoted Studios is a production management company for external development in video games. We partner with 1400+ programmers, artists, and designers, from freelancers to small studios, all over the world, and not only match them to project opportunities but manage the production from A-Z.We are looking for a Gaming Industry Expert Lead Recruiter with broad experience across various global markets and an extensive knowledge of the gaming industry, including outsourcing, co-development, art, service providers, and more. This role requires someone well-connected within the gaming sector and capable of advising hiring managers on filling strategic vacancies. The ideal candidate will understand multiple facets of the gaming business and help secure talent for all areas of game development, live services, and creative fields.This is a fully remote role, hiring in Canada and Europe. RequirementsKey Responsabilities

  • Lead recruitment efforts across a wide range of gaming disciplines, including game development, co-development, production, art, live services, publishing, QA.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry players in different global markets, including artists, developers, service providers, and platform partners.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, providing expert insights on recruitment needs for various roles, including technical, creative, and business functions.
  • Develop and implement tailored recruitment strategies for specialized gaming areas such as 3D art, animation, game design, live ops, monetization, and community management.
  • Utilize a strong network in the gaming world to source talent for key positions in development and creative departments, particularly across diverse markets.
  • Stay informed on emerging industry trends and dynamics in co-dev, live services, outsourcing, free-to-play, VR/AR, mobile games, and platform-specific developments.
  • Provide market intelligence on compensation benchmarks, talent availability, and competitive hiring trends across different markets and regions.
  • Ensure recruitment efforts are in compliance with legal and industry standards.
Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a senior or lead recruiter, with substantial experience across different gaming markets.
  • Extensive knowledge of the global gaming industry, with expertise in outsourcing, co-development, live services, service providers, and art recruitment.
  • Well-established network of contacts within the gaming industry, including developers artists and sales.
  • Ability to recruit for a wide variety of roles, including technical (development, engineering), creative (3D artists, animators), production (producers, project managers) and business functions (live ops, monetization, community management), and business development.
  • Strong ability to advise hiring managers on recruitment strategies and industry best practices across different regions.
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end gaming production pipeline, from early development through live services and post-launch.
  • Experience handling multiple high-priority roles in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment.
  • In-house or agency recruitment experience with a focus on gaming or entertainment industries is preferred.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years of recruitment experience, with at least 4 years focused on the gaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of the various aspects of the gaming business, including outsourcing, co-development, art, service providers, live services, and platform relationships.
  • Experience recruiting in different global markets
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to create and implement strategic recruitment plans tailored to the gaming industry #39;s unique challenges.
