Today, theres around 1000 telcos globally. By 2030, there may be 100,000 and a million networks, probably with various new types of service providers, aggregation hubs and consortia. These networks will span industrial, city, office, rural, utility, public venue and many other domains. 5G is accelerating this shift in market dynamics because it’s one of the first open standards and governments around the globe are starting to auction wireless spectrum directly to enterprises.Avanade historically has not been involved in the network side of our clients business. To own the Azure continuum, we must not just manage our clients apps and Azure infrastructure, but the Edge and the connectivity which supports. We are actively building our network capabilities to support any G —with connectivity a major evolving component of any companies digital transformation.You will help prepare Avanade and our clients for 5G and the broader shifts in connectivity.First and foremost, Avanade will help our clients take advantage of the opportunities that 5G brings. You will be part of a team responsible for supporting client requests, developing and incubating assets/IP, providing an early presence in the market through thought-leadership and marketing events, and ensuring collaboration with Microsoft, Accenture and Ecosystem partners. As the 5G opportunities continue to evolve and mature, you will steer the course for Avanade’s future 5G services.You are:As the 5G Go To Market (GTM) Lead you will accelerate the activation of our 5G business. You are a leader that loves thinking about the intersection of new technology with business and industry and understand that innovation is a constant for sustainable success. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy partnering with a variety of stakeholders to create and sell 5G-related services. You will help to establish Avanade as the leader for the enterprise adoption of the 5G.Your expertise includes program management, familiarity (or deep interest in learning) cloud and network services, coordinating across a global team, and taking the initial strategy to activate 5G across Avanade and our clients. You work across a set of senior stakeholders within Avanade, Accenture and Microsoft to get businesses stood up. You likely have around 5-7 years of experience that includes consulting or customer leadership experience incubating new businesses.Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the end-to-end activation and program management of Avanade’s 5G services. You will oversee the team and the operational aspects of building the global 5G team
• Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders for the development of GTM capabilities, early assets/IP and 5G use cases
• Partner with the Avanade’s Solution Areas to incorporate connectivity and how they should fold into new GTMs
• Support early client-facing inquiries to bring forward thought-leadership, and work with our 5G SMEs to support the origination of early lighthouse client wins
• Drive joint pipeline with Microsoft and Accenture
• Develop ongoing strategy and early activation (e.g., partner ecosystem and capability development)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 5+ of program management experience
• Experience in advising internal teams in the development, production, and promotion of innovative services, business models, and products
• Cloud networking/telco experience a plus but not required
• Experience working with clients on innovative and new technologies
• Providing thought leadership and early roadmaps for clients
• Ability to engage with the most senior stakeholders across Microsoft and Accenture
• High level of maturity in a highly visible role with access to confidential information
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences
