With a strong medicines pipeline our current transformation will not just deliver growth for our business but continue to allow us to bring innovative medicines to patients quickly.The 1st two Gene Therapies (GTs) approved in Canada require executional excellence and the discipline to support every patient journey to our GTs. In this role you will lead with purpose for patients, working as ONE team together on ONE plan to ensure our gene therapies reach the people who need them most! GTx is an exciting therapeutic area providing the opportunity to reimagine and create a new blueprint for how we bring our innovation to patients and stakeholder. As GTx Care manager you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of tactics to support the brand strategy, and operational plans that optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for our gene therapies

  • With support of the Field team (Medical, HPPA), accelerate patient journey and establish Zolgensma and Luxturna as the treatments of choice
  • Identify, co-design and implement innovative programs at the account level to align with brand strategies and address local issues/opportunities for unmet customer needs.
  • Build strategic partnerships with different key stakeholders (e.g. Care Centers, Centers of Excellence, referral centers, Nurses/Nurse Practitioners, etc.) within the assigned geography, through joint initiatives that deliver patient benefit and can improve patient outcomes.
  • Gain key insights through engagement and consultation with care center stakeholders that have impact on the management of patients across the Gene Therapy portfolio.
  • Ensure excellence in execution by leading and coordinating field cross-functional team (Medical, HPPA) effort in the successful implementation of center business/projects plans.
  • This a field based role with an expectation for business travel and majority of time spent should be customer facing responsibilities
  • Identify and attend key conferences related to therapeutic area

  • Strong leadership without authority and collaboration skills to effectively lead and influence cross functional team. Has a full understanding of the role of medical, communications & PE, value and access and strategic teams
  • In depth knowledge and experience in the provincial healthcare system of the assigned geography
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, perseverance, resilience, and ability to balance short and long- term goals
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required
  • Proven track record of managing internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders
