Job Description

With a strong medicines pipeline our current transformation will not just deliver growth for our business but continue to allow us to bring innovative medicines to patients quickly.As part of the Business Excellence & Execution Team, this role will focus on reimagining the way Novartis/IM Canada drives our Biome and Rapid Solution design.Working in close collaboration with the Canadian cross-functional partners you will:

  • Define this Center of Excellence strategic direction in terms solution design, rapid prototyping and scalability planning
  • Lead the tactical implementation team that will tackle key business priorities through partnerships, co-creation & collaboration
  • Build a powerful innovation platform that brings together our customers and stakeholders to solve for the biggest healthcare challenges through partnerships, co-creation & collaboration
Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Accountable & Responsible for the department performance and budget management
  • Responsible working closely with the business leaders to understand challenges in the patient/systems of care journey and bring in expertise to implement rapid solution design and prototyping
  • Brings a customer centric approach and involves our customers during the design process
  • Focus on enhancing health data utilization and shaping a future proof data driven healthcare system
  • Enhances Patient Identification by leveraging current available data sources, identifying current data availability gaps/barriers and how might we close them as well as automation
  • Drives tailored and optimized care pathways empowered by data insights and digital tools
  • Drives collaboration with large health care providers to solve for our biggest challenges through strategic partnerships
  • Builds an innovation ecosystem and partnerships

  • 10+ years of Business experience. Depending on the experience could be an opportunity to attract experience from different industry sectors
  • 3+ years of digital experience related to commercial activities including tangible delivery / launch of value-added solutions.
  • Technology and Innovation experience preferred
  • Strategic agility: the successful candidate can anticipate future consequences and trends accurately; has broad knowledge and perspective; is future oriented; can clearly articulate a vision and possibilities; can create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans
  • Proven track record on influencing senior leaders in complex project(s) & driving positive impact
