Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter–from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.Overview of the RoleThe chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting the Imports Buyer in the daily tasks such as placing international cheese orders, processing all international cheese arrivals and working closely with internal team members to ensure alignment, meet requirements and promote positive work relationship with all related parties (internal and external).How you will make contributions that matter:

• Receive, review, and process import documentation according to established procedures and customs regulations;
• Arrange bookings; coordinate freight movement from port to destination; including pick up, and delivery;
• Coordinate export shipments from booking to delivery, including container loading/unloading and transportation;
• Communicate and follow up with suppliers regarding complaints, questions, and other special instructions;
• Transmit shipping instructions to concerned parties;
• Track shipments
• Read, monitor and respond promptly to all incoming communications;
• Prepare cheese samples and weekly orders;
• Work closely with other related internal teams in order to meet expectations;
• Clerical work such as: filing, archives, photocopies, etc.;
• Perform other related duties as assigned;

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• High school diploma required, college diploma an asset;
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in an international company (import, export)
• Strong interpersonal skills;
• Ability to prioritize and organize assigned workload effectively;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and customer service oriented;
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.
• Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is essential;
