With its subsidiary CEVA Logistics, a world leader in logistics, and its air freight division CMA CGM AIR CARGO, the CMA CGM Group is continually innovating to offer its customers a complete and increasingly efficient range of new shipping, land, air and logistics solutions.Committed to the energy transition in shipping, and a pioneer in the use of alternative fuels, the CMA CGM Group has set a target to become Net Zero Carbon by 2050.Through the CMA CGM Foundation, the Group acts in humanitarian crises that require an emergency response by mobilizing the Group’s shipping and logistics expertise to bring humanitarian supplies around the world.Present in 160 countries through its network of more than 400 offices and 750 warehouses, the Group employs more than 150,000 people worldwide, including 2,900 in Marseilles where its head office is located.In Canada, we are a dynamic team of 110 employees located in Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax.POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTIONEffectively handle CC Canada’s intermodal operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProcess all Canada export rail-billing timely & accuratelyImport update, correct routing and submit the rail billing west and east coastsEffectively dispatch/create Transport Orders for all Canada export (rail & truck) cross-border shipments moving on services over US East Coast ports (NY & Philly).Regular/daily track & trace of containers until completion of shipment cycle(export ramp cut-offs adhered to, port connections made, etc.)Pro-actively take initiative to ‘control’ your services as deemed necessary (Reports, Notifications, distributions, etc.)Daily monitoring & action of the ‘Rail-billing’ team mailboxRegular/monthly LARA routing maintenance (Leg Updates) & CS route selection accuracyDaily accounting maintenance (T/O accuracy, EDI invoicing errors, vendor statements)Regular weekly action of CIRA tickets (vendor invoice / Transport Order inaccuracies)Ability to seamlessly & effectively support team members when necessaryWork closely with customers, internal departments and overseas as partners in resolving issues and creating strong relationships.Strive for exceptional customer service and positive promotion of CMA CGM brand identity in the industry.QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelors degree or industry related certificateExperience: 2 years shipping & logistics industry experienceOther: Ability to multi task and prioritize time sensitive issuesAutonomous but takes initiative to help the teamProactive, well organized and detail orientedBilingualALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LEGALLY AUTHORISED TO WORK IN CANADAWe thank all candidates for their interest in applying for this position and working at CMA CGM, please note, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.We are an equal opportunity employer!Come along on CMA CGM’s adventure !Quick Apply
