Job Description

Primary Locations: Montreal, QuebecAttendance: HybridEmployee Status: RegularSchedule: Full-time***Please note that there will be delays in processing applications during the holiday season. Thank you for your interest.The successful candidate will act as lead DevSecOps integrator for DevOps practices in their sector. They will play a role in achieving objectives, in particular by serving as an ambassador for agile, quality and DevSecOps principles. They will have the ability to influence stakeholders and guide the various parties in the project team to optimize DevSecOps activities.Main responsibilities:

  • Be proficient in organizing and achieving the following DevSecOps practices:
    • Integration of security in all DevOps activities
    • Source code management
    • Continuous integration
    • Continuous deployments
    • Automated testing
    • Automated security testing
    • Application monitoring
  • Establish the strategy to implement DevSecOps practices as part of an initiative comprised of several squads
  • Support teams in their DevOps journey by providing training and coaching
  • Participate in the installation and configuration of tools to run user cases in CI/CD/CT practices and subject applications to quality controls at both the functional and applications security levels (in conjunction with the Bank’s security team)
  • Actively collaborate in documenting user guides for the various tools
  • Define and communicate relevant metrics (KPIs)
  • Understand the agile delivery method in a SAFE context and how DevSecOps activities are managed in it

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience or Masters degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the Periodic Table of DevOps Tools (if not, when you see it, you’ll understand!) and mastery of at least one tool per category in this table
  • Experience in Java programming and expertise in SDLC
  • Above-average understanding of security
  • Experience in the banking field, an asset
  • Experience in a collaborative environment with external service providers
  • Strong ability to adapt rapidly to changes
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Bilingual required: Ability to communicate effectively in English (for dealing with English-speaking colleagues)
  • Strong ability to take initiative and innovate
