I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area, and I specialize in assisting accounting firms. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions. I am looking for an Accounting Manager for a downtown accounting firm. The position is 100% in remote. Your responsibilities: - You will oversee the firm #39;s operations, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and ensuring that profitability targets are met. - You will establish policies and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. - You will manage a team of accounting and tax professionals, providing inspirational leadership and fostering a collaborative working environment. - You will supervise tasks, review files, evaluate performance, identify training needs and encourage the team #39;s professional development. - You #39;ll help clients develop accounting and tax strategies, make informed decisions and solve complex problems. - You will also be responsible for managing relationships with existing clients and developing new business opportunities, if this interests you. - You will be responsible for providing technical advice and ensuring compliance with current accounting standards and tax regulations. - You will keep up to date with legislative changes and industry trends. - Bachelor #39;s degree in accounting - CPA designation - 5 years of experience, including 2 years of experience in a similar role - Firm experience - Tax experience (T1, T2amp; T3) - Knowledge of Caseware, Taxprep and Quickbooks software - Bilingualism French/English (major asset)
