Our teams of professionals help our clients manage risk so they can focus on their core business. By intimately understanding each client’s business, we convert information into insights to uncover hidden opportunities to improve client efficiency and performance.As part of the management team, you will be required to lead KPMGs audit teams and ensure the correct accounting practices and methodologies are applied to our clients.   • Oversee and manage various assurance and tax engagements.
  • Manage engagements from planning to completion of deliverables.
  • Advise, train and mentor assurance staff.
  • Collaborate with clients and partners on complex issues to find appropriate solutions that meet your clients needs.
  • Learn about other value-added services offered by the firm.
  • Ensure the application of KPMGs accounting best practices and methodologies in engagements.
What you bring to this role:
  • CPA designation in Canada.
  • At least five years experience in an accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal taxation.
  • Experience in providing advisory services on current tax matters.
  • Experience in review, compilation and bookkeeping engagements.
  • Excellent client service skills and the ability to understand clients businesses in order to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities driven by a motivation to meet high standards of customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience building a client base and growing a groups revenue is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, good teamwork skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working in an accounting firm is required.
  • Proven ability to delegate work effectively and strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent staff coaching and performance management skills.
