Job Description

SUMMARY

  • LOCATION: Montreal, hybrid work (work from home and office in the old port of Montreal)
  • Position type: Permanent, full time

DESCRIPTIONThis is a unique role in which you oversee building and maintaining the Insum brand, while supporting and fueling lead generation. You own and fully control our brand assets, content strategy, PR, and employer branding.Your mission is to build a scalable, data driven and automated marketing communications and content engine. You are empowered, enabled and accountable for supporting growth marketing and campaign delivery.Reporting to the Vice-President, Marketing, you will operate in an environment where all executives believe in marketing and where sales are extremely supportive of what we do.If you are a modern marketer, digitally focused and data driven, with a proven track record in building brand awareness, and leveraging content strategies to fuel lead generation, then this role is for you!CORE RESPONSIBILITIESLead the Insum brand across all channels
  • Own the brand story, brand guidelines and its delivery across all channels‒from website, to webinars, podcast, conferences, and other channels.
  • Lead the creative content production.
  • Focus on driving brand awareness via a well-defined thought leadership and social strategy
  • Help drive our global employer brand and our narrative.
Own and lead the content strategy and thought leadership efforts
  • Lead the long- and short-term content strategy focused on positioning Insum as a market leader.
  • Help advance our thought leadership programs to the next level. This may include a webinar series, LinkedIn live, and podcast.
  • Lead our Newsletter effort, including growing our subscriber list and maintaining a steady stream of relevant and engaging content. Leverage newsletter for occasional, targeted campaigns.
  • Orchestrate the effective and efficient use of content across multiple channels and for each stage of the customer journey. Derive insights from customers in order to define relevant content pillars.
  • Ensure optimal distribution for each content or micro-content piece we create. Leverage data (SEO, Keyword research, analytics), digital tools, and other research to drive visibility, reach and impact.
  • Lead a successful production process. Develop an automated engine that streamlines, repurposes and creates micro-content that supports our social media and demand generation efforts.
Support pipeline and demand generation
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to leverage marketing content through various channels, maximizing the use and distribution of case studies, thought leadership, blogs, YouTube videos, and podcasts, etc.
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
  • Develop sales kits, sales presentation templates and other material that will support our sales teams, with a strong focus on our partnerships with Oracle and Talan
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. practice directors and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
  • Establish a symbiotic partnership with the sales team, ensuring perfect alignment.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience with a proven track record in building brand awareness, thought leadership and leading content engines, preferably in B2B
  • Experience leading a content strategy that delivers results
  • Understand SEO and diverse content distribution strategies. (You have used SEM rush, Ahref, MOZ or similar tools to help guide your content creation and delivery)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills (You are comfortable pulling GA or other reports, evaluating your content and campaign performance). You can use data to derive valuable insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an attention to detail
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
